Both Vanir and Aesir have The beserkers. Wild men of intense strength and fury sprint into battle shattering the morale of their enemies. They wear no armor and harness the spirit of the wolves or bears heads they wear as helms. They are deeply connected to their gods.

Far to the north, lives the Nordheimers. They are surrounded my high peaked mountains that some say live giants and even lesser gods. These people are savage and hard just like the weather in which they live. This particular sentry is from Vanaheim. Red-haired and stocky, these warriors are less cultured than their cousins the Aesir. The Vanir play no games.

These Vanir are searching for slaves. They cut deep into the Pictish wilderness looking for the savages. They keep them as concubines. The Vanir are feared across the northwest, all the way to the Western Sea.

He stands guard, or is he a ghost? This once rider of the open Steppe never leaves his post.
He endures as all before him, and all after him must do the same. He fears neither man nor beast. This Rider of Hyrkania.

In his battle armor, this rider of the steppe has seen many winters. He has seen his children slain in front of him. He has seen the everlasting sky.

He is heavy cavalryman. A rider of Hyrkania. One of the elite bands of heavy cavalry recruited amongst the clans. He has seen much. Many places pillaged and ruined under his own horse’s hooves. To be feared.

This is the greatest of all Queens. Deep to the south, she builds upon lesser kingdoms around her. Enchanted with visions, she sees a Throne of Ivory and Gold. So she uses her Army and forces her ppl to obey or be sacrificed. Ha, very efficient is she.

She plays coy here. Is she at a dance, or is she about to sing a sirens song? To lure a Knight to lose his Soul, to add as another chess piece on her table.
